Phone charging points for pubs, bars and clubs across the UK

Nobody leaves at nine because their phone died.

We put pay-per-charge phone charging points into pubs, bars and clubs anywhere in the UK. Installed free, looked after free, and a share of the profit lands in your account every month.

No rent. No contract. No minimum. If it doesn't earn its space, we take it away.

The problem

A dead phone empties a table faster than last orders.

Watch what happens when someone's battery hits red. They can't get a taxi, can't find their mates, can't tap to pay. So the whole group heads home early, and your bar staff have no answer except "sorry, no charger." Ask anyone who's worked a Saturday shift: they get asked a dozen times a night, and every "no" is a customer walking away annoyed.

No taxi

Uber, Bolt and the train times all live on the phone. Red battery, early night.

No mates

The group chat is how the next lot find the table. If it's dead, they don't.

No Apple Pay

Half the room hasn't carried a card in years. No phone, no next round.

No answer

"Have you got a charger?" is the most common question at the bar after "what's on tap". Your staff are sick of hearing it, and sick of saying no.

How it works

Three steps, and only one of them is yours.

1

You say yes

A quick chat, in person or by email. We agree where the unit goes: on the bar, or on the wall near a socket.

2

We install it, free

We fit the charging point, keep it working and sort any repairs. Your staff don't touch a thing.

3

You get paid monthly

Customers pay less than a fiver for a charge. A percentage of the profit goes to you each month, to whichever account you give us.

For venues

Free kit. Fewer early leavers. A new line of income.

  • Nothing to pay, ever. No rent, no contract, no minimum term.
  • A share of the profit every month, paid to the venue, or to you directly if you're the owner or decision maker.
  • People stay for another round instead of heading home to charge.
  • Your staff stop being the charger. No more "can you plug this in behind the bar?", no more phones by the till, no more saying no.
  • Fits anywhere there's a plug socket. Bar-top or wall-mounted, your call.
  • Doesn't earn its space? We take it away. No hard feelings.

For your customers

Plug in, pay, carry on with the night.

  • Less than a fiver for a charge. Cheaper than the taxi home.
  • Right there at the bar, not behind it. No handing your phone to a stranger.
  • Enough to get home, message the group and tap for the next round.

Where it goes

On the bar, on the wall, or standing on the floor.

The bar-top units sit next to the card machine or go on the wall by the booths. Bigger venues get a slim floor-standing tower. Either way, all it needs is a plug socket.

Bar-topSits by the till or the taps. Staff can keep an eye on it; customers can find it.
Wall-mountedNear the booths, the smoking-area door or the corridor to the loos. Zero bar space used.

Pick your size

From a bar-top box to a forty-eight-bank tower.

Every unit is a VenueCharge power bank station: customers tap, take a charged power bank with the cables built in, and drop it back when they're done. We size it to your footfall.

Questions landlords ask

The short answers.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. We supply the unit, install it, maintain it and fix it. There's no rent, no contract and no minimum term. The only thing it uses is one of your plug sockets.

How do I get paid?

A percentage of the profit from your unit, paid monthly to whichever account you give us. That can be the venue's account, or yours directly if you're the owner or the person who makes the decision.

What does a customer pay?

Less than a fiver for a charge. Enough to get them home, and cheap enough that nobody thinks twice.

Do my staff have to do anything?

No. The unit runs itself. The only thing that changes for your team is that "have you got a charger?" finally has a one-word answer: "there". No more phones behind the bar, no more cables by the till, no more awkward nos.

What if it doesn't work for my place?

We take it away. It's our kit and our risk. If it isn't earning its space, it shouldn't be there.

I'm a manager, not the owner. Can I still say yes?

Let's talk. Email us and we'll work out the right person to agree it with and how the payment should be set up for your venue.

Pub phone chargers, explained

Looking for a phone charger for your pub, bar or club?

There are three ways venues usually do it. Only one of them pays you.

Cables behind the bar

Free, but your staff become the charging desk, phones pile up by the till, and someone eventually walks off with a customer's handset. Most venues stop after the first argument.

Buying a charging station

A bar phone charging station or locker costs a few hundred pounds up front, then it's yours to maintain, repair and replace. If it breaks on a Friday, it stays broken.

A VenueCharge point

A pay-per-charge phone charging station installed and maintained free. Customers pay under a fiver, you take a share of the profit every month, and if it doesn't earn its space we take it away.

VenueCharge supplies pub phone chargers, bar phone charging stations and club charging points across the UK, from a single village local to a city-centre group. Bar-top or wall-mounted, any venue with a plug socket qualifies.
